Splenda Recipe #1: Multigrain Date Quickbread
1 cup boiling water
1 cup dates or raisins
1 1/3 tsp baking soda
¾ cup natural bran
1 cup whole wheat flour or graham flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup Splenda
1 ½ tbsp honey or molasses
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 cup 2% milk
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
Pour boiling water over dates or raisins. Add soda, and let stand for 5 minutes.
Add bran, flour, rolled oats, Splenda, baking powder, salt, milk and honey. Mix well. Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick in middle comes out clean.

Splenda Recipe #2: Cranberry Nut Bread
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1 egg
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup Splenda
1 cup honey or molasses
1 tbsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
2 tsp grated orange rind
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup raisins
1 cup chopped cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Preheat oven to 350 F. Oil a loaf pan.
Combine flours, orange rind, Splenda, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until toothpick in middle comes out dry. Cool for 6 minutes before removing from pan. Combine the flours, sugar, baking powder, and orange rind in a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to blend well. Pour into an oiled 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 6 minutes before removing from the pan.
