This pumpkin cranberry bread recipe is good for a Halloween treat, or for any other time of the year if you love pumpkin and cranberries as much as I do.

Pumpkin Cranberry Bread Recipe
3 1/2 cups flour
1 2/3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
3/4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoons baking powder
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce or equivalent quantity of home made cranberry sauce
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 can of pumpkin or 16 ounces cooked pumpkin
Combine all dry ingredients, including the spice, in a bowl. Using a second bowl, combine all remaining ingredients and mix well. Add the second mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until the dry ingredients are moistened.
Place your pumpkin cranberry bread batter in the two loaf pans and cook until done. This should take approximately 65 minutes, but test.
After cooling for ten minutes, remove your bread from the pans and cool on a rack.
When your pumpkin cranberry bread is cool, you may choose to glaze it with this orange mixture.
1 cup powdered confectioners sugar
1/4 cup undiluted orange juice concentrate
1/8 teaspoon allspice
Mix the above three ingredients together and drizzle over the breads.
Serve this pumpkin cranberry bread for breakfast, lunch or snacks.
