I'm June Campbell and I am the owner of this web site.

I'll start with the "who" first. I'm not a trained chef -- but I am an experienced cook who knows how to find her way around a kitchen. In my earlier life, I spent about a dozen years working as a restaurant cook. That works out to a lot of meals, snacks and treats over the course of a decade. And that's not counting the cooking and entertaining that I did in my own home.

Where did I learn to cook? Why, from my late mother, of course. As a farm wife in the earlier half of the 20th century, she was an expert cook, baker, canner, pickle maker, hostess and gardener.

Now, as for the "why" of this site, it's to share my favorite recipes with my online visitors, and perhaps to bring in a few dollars in the process.

If you have a hobby that you'd like to share with the world, there is good news. You don't have to know how to code web pages, or anything at all about developing a web site. You can use a product called Site-Build-It (SBI). SBI makes it easy for anybody -- and I mean anybody -- to build a web site with good content, and to make that site attractive to the search engines. No technology skills needed!

I'd almost say my cat could create a good web site with SBI, but that could be a bit of an exaggeration!
